Rock Of Ages - Show Summary

The rock of ages NYC is set in the late 1980s and tells the story about a wannabe rocker, Drew who works in the famous Hollywood club, The Bourbon Room. This boy meets Sherrie, a girl from Kansas, an aspiring actress hoping to make it big in Hollywood. Sherrie is also being hired by the club and Drew instantly falls for this young girl. They plan a picnic at a place overlooking the enchanting LA and there Drew suggests to Sherrie (quite mistakenly) that they are just friends. Later at the club, lead singer of the band ARSENAL, Stacee Jaxx, a lady charmer, instantly ...
... woos Sherrie. With the passing time, Drew proves his musical talent to the club owners and is selected to open for Stacee. Drew is offered a contract from a record producer which he accepts.

During these times, city developers from Germany, Hertz and his son Franz persuade the city mayor to scrap the Sunset Strip and instead propose "clean living". The demolition plan of the club is opposed by city planner, Regina. When they meet on the street, Drew and Sherrie initially feel awkward. Drew tells Sherrie that he felt quite bad when she left him for Stacee, but she said that she did not know that Drew liked her. Sherrie was quite upset with Stacee's remarks and was forced to join a nearby strip club.

Meanwhile, Regina continues her protect against the demolition of the club but fails to succeed. She later on convinces Franz to stand up against his father. Franz admits his own dreams and also his love for Regina. At the end, the club is spared destruction and Drew and Sherrie renew their love for each other.
