Energy Performance Certificates - A Must For Landlords!

If you own a building or own a property, you must have an Energy Performance Certificate. The certificate is essential as it reveals a building's efficiency. Buildings are responsible for almost 50 per cent of the UK's energy consumption and carbon emissions. From 1 October 2008, landlords are placed under a legal obligation to provide prospective tenants with a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
