In order to understand this occult science, he and his second wife - Ruth, invite two of their friends and Madam Arcati for a séance. After dinner, when they gather for séance, all goes well, until Mr. Condomine sees the spirit of his ex-wife, Elvira. Only Charles can see and hear Elvira, which makes others believe that he is drunk. Elvira continues to bother Charles and even lays a trap for him. She wanted to kill him, so that they can re-unite. But fate had something else in store. Ruth uses the car that was to be used by Charles, and she meets with an accident. No prices for guessing, who has play mischief. Now, Elvira wanted her husband back with her, but instead of her husband, she gets the company of his current wife. Mr. Condomine is left alone, rather free, but there is a twist in the tale, which we are not going to reveal. Watch it for yourself, Blithe Spirit is indeed an entertaining lighthearted comedy. Some of the lines are really catchy and cheesy. And you will enjoy every bit of this play.
