When looking for information about study Spanish in Argentina, I found this school in Buenos Aires where I signed up for a 4 week Spanish course. The staff was very friendly from the beginning and I was happy to organize my Spanish course with them. What I most liked was the location of the school (at the border of Belgrano and Palermo, an area my friends strongly recommended) and the Spanish Language school itself: there were pictures of a leafy garden and of students taking classes at the sunny balcony and I was very much looking forward to a relaxed and comfortable learning experience. But at the same time I was a bit nervous about the home stay and about the Spanish course: I really need to improve my Spanish for my job but I am not very good at learning foreign languages at all. The closer the date of my trip, the more I was worried about all Argentines being loud, unreliable and very hard to understand, and I had nightmares of myself with a very unpleasant guest mother forcing me to eat 3 kilos of meat daily. Was it really a good idea to study Spanish in Argentina?
Now - six weeks later - I can say yes, it was! The ...
... Spanish language school was great and the experience Learn Spanish in Argentina was a big success. The school was great, the staff, the teachers, and the ambience. I wasn't in the building (indeed relaxing atmosphere and leafy garden best student of my group (only 3 or 4 students average), but I managed and my Spanish improved a lot through the modern, communicative method of the school! Also my guest mum was great and living with her did wonders for my Spanish. I probably understood only about 20% of what she said but boy, she talked so much that that 20% is an awful lot! Most of the other students were a big younger than I was but the school organized daily activities as well as weekend excursions with the staff, so I really never felt lost or alone.
