Bill Stumpf, together with his design partner, Jeff Weber, sought to address the issue that most regular chair providers turned a blind eye to. These two designers wanted a chair that could bring the office worker in harmony with his computer. Via years of research and with the help of orthopedic specialists, therapists and other experts, they were able to come up with the Embody chair which combined both form and function. Every part and mechanism incorporated in the Embody chair were made part of its aesthetics. Nothing was hidden from the view of the user, thereby creating an urban look which had the back looking like the human spine. Although pricey (with the price estimated to be more than $1000), the benefits that the Embody chair provides, its incredible design as well as its durability and superb workmanship, are reasons enough to want to purchase it.
