Weekend trips are fun, exciting quick and refreshing. They offer so much more in just a weekend. Though, there are numerous weekend holiday destinations, all of them are not equally popular for their fun spirit, recharge quotient and travel attractions. However, some of them are really popular among the tourists, who live in nearby cities.

Goa is a state of endless fun. The local spirit of relaxation and indulgence just gets extended with the tourism industry. The true culture of Goa is driven by mouth watering seafood dishes, tax-free alcohol and pristine and carefree beaches. This spirit to live and spread happiness is such an innate part of their culture that every now and then, working masses of cities like Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore find themselves retreating to this gorgeous state.

Goan Beaches is the main attraction. Yet, it means that tourists can play beach games like volley ball, cricket and football and just as effortlessly as they can go swimming, skinny dipping and leisure walking. Today, it protects the endangered Bengal tigers, flaunts 488 plant species and flourishes fauna such as Himalayan black tigers, sloth, chitals, Leopards, Indian grey mongooses, deers, yellow throated martins, elephants, owls, Himalayan gorals, eagles, parakeets, crocodiles, dragonflies, reptiles and amphibians. Whether you love to explore wildlife or catch a glimpse of rare birds, Jim Corbett National Park is a great destination in India.
