An inventor from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, created a prototype for the device. The accessory provides a more convenient way to pull or push a golf-bag hand cart. The unit saves time and effort, and prevents stress and strain. It is easy to attach to or detach from existing carts. The invention saves the user from having to buy a more expensive motorized or robotic bag cart. Additionally, the accessory makes the cart easily maneuverable on all types of terrain. It can remain attached to the hand cart and still fit in your car or van.

The patented device is a motorized wheel assembly that attaches to the bottom of the hand cart, powering it across the course. The wheel is powered by a rechargeable battery and operated via a hard-wired control unit that attaches to the cart's handle. The powered wheel features the world's first in-hub motor used for this purpose.
