Fexofenadine Act As Antihistamine To Reduces Histamine In The Body - Pillsformedicine
Allegra (fexofenadine) is as antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. It produces symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose. It may also be used for purpose not listed in this medication guide.
What should you avoid while taking fexofenadine?
Avoid taking any other cold or allergy medicine unless your doctor has told you to.
Avoid using antacids within 15 minutes before or after taking a medication that contains Allegra.
It antacids can make it harder for your body to absorb this medication.
Do not take Allegra with fruit juice (such as apple, orange. Grapefruit)
Allegra side effects:
You get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction to allergic.
Stop taking Allegra and call your doctor if you have fever, chills, body aches, cough, or other flu symptoms.
Nausea, diarrhea, upset stomach;

Do not take medicine to make up the missed dose. Since cold or allergy medicine is taken as needed, you may not be on a dosing schedule. If you are taking the medication regularly, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose.
How should you take Allegra?
Take the regular tablets with a full glass of water.
Do not use any other type of liquid.
Shake the oral suspension (liquid) well just before you measure a dose.
Keep the tablets in its blister pack until you are ready to take the medicine.
Using dry hands remove the tablets and place it in mouth. It will begin to dissolve right away.
Do not swallow the tablets whole. Allow it on dissolve in your mouth without chewing.
