The candidates will have to appear next for the RAT or the Research aptitude test examination. This will help in determining the level of competence, understanding that the person has about the particular field. The presentation of the individual of his course of study will also be adjudged in this test. After the candidate clears the test, he will be called for a personal interview. If the candidate is able to clear the interview, then he will be given the chance to pursue the PHD degree in the institution.
