The Kazakhstan Engineering-technological University, KazETU is one of the most rapidly growing universities of Kazakhstan located in Almaty. This emerging institution was built specially for awarding degrees in the field of engineering and information technology. It was founded in year 2001 along with a college for graduate studies in year 2002.
Graduate studies
At KazETU, graduate level studies are offered in around eight disciplines including financial accounting, food processing, economics, marketing, computer engineering, tourism, horticulture, radio engineering, telecommunication, production machines & equipment, biotechnology, industrial chemistry, informatics, automatization7, and social and cultural studies. These courses are offered at KazETU College, where highly professional and qualified staff trains students to build a string foundation in different areas of specializations. Master studies
At master levels, KazETU is awarding in five disciplines including food products technology, plants processing, horticulture, machines and equipment production, and biotechnology. At university level, the campus has dedicated 3 floors for academic learning including library, stationary shop, cafeteria, auditoriums, labs, and restrooms. KazETU is currently planning to build a conference hall for organizing national and international conferences to broaden the career horizon of students. Besides this there is a gymnasium where students can play and participate in various sports and fitness activities. The university also has dining rooms, stationary shop, cafeteria, and library to provide every possible facility to encourage healthier learning.
Variety of academic and recreational facilities
At KazETU, a healthier and motivational student’s life is promoted and a number of activities and events are organized accordingly. There are student societies and communities for setting up various recreational activities where students can both learn and enjoy. Seminars workshops are organized by university where national and international speakers are invited to share their expertise and valuable knowledge with students. Funfairs and balls are arranged along with musical chairs and galas so that students can fully bring their creative skills to the surface which can also help them make better career choices.

KazETU has its official website where along with education news, student portal is being set up so that students can share experiences and initiate discussions about various on-campus activities. The site includes admission procedure, information about required documents, application forms, fee notices and fee structures, and all campus related announcements.
