Do you watch TV regularly? Have you noticed any changes in the way it is aired these days? If you are a TV buff then you would have noticed that new rules, regulations have been introduced by the broadcast authorities. The Indian broadcast’s authorities latest rule has made it mandatory for the viewers to have a set top box to view so many channels that are available for them to see. Most of the channels being aired currently are Hindi TV channels along with a few regional channels.
This set top box has made it possible for the viewers to pay for channels that they see on a regular basis instead of paying a flat rate for a bouquet of channels that they never would watch. Growing viewership for these different TV channels has made it possible for channels to air new drama series, laughter shows, talent shows or even a reality show. The stage has been set for a bitter feud between two families with different stories running parallel along with an unconventional love story between the spunky protagonist Zoya and the stern reserved Asad. Qubool Hai has Karan Singh Grover playing Asad Khan who is traditional and disciplined and Surbhi Jyoti playing Zoya who is a charming and carefree girl. The plot has Zoya running away from her own wedding and taking refuge in Asad’s house. She pledges to search for the father at any cost in Bhopal. The lead pair’s witty interactions are a treat to watch, while Ayaan is a suave NRI flirt who falls for every girl he comes in contact with.
The stunningly beautiful Surbhi Jyoti portrays Zoya convincingly in the Qubool Hai. Her portrayal of Zoya is bang on with the right amount of subtle characterisations that audiences identify with.
