When it comes to all time favorite musicals, West Side Story is seated at the top. Based on the evergreen Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, this musical tells you the story of two rival teenage gangs of different ethnicity and culture. As expected, a guy from one gang falls in love with a girl of the rival gang. In this case, Tony, the American falls in love with Maria, the sister of Puerto Rican gang leader. Then starts the drama. The musical explores the culture and social realities of the 1950s. The sophisticated music, dance scenes and the generally dark theme keep the viewers captivated.

The Storyline

A great musical treat with some extended dance scenes, it is truly mesmerizing and captivating. The Sharks and the Jets - the two gangs are always at loggerheads, ready to crush the other party.
