Delhi is metropolitan and capital city of India. It is second most populous city in the world and has population of approx. 22 million. if one looks at the map of India he/she will feel that Delhi is the 'nose' of India. Delhi was made capital in 1911 under british east India company. One can spot many Neolithic structures built during their empire regime including the current Indian parliament located in the national capital corporate offices there are a lot of hangout places in Delhi which include malls, gardens, parks etc. the most prominent structures and UNESCO heritage sites in Delhi are the red fort along the Yamuna river which was built in 1648 and was home of Mughal emperors till 1857. Another such masterpiece is Qutub Minar built by Qutb-ud-din Aibak in year 1192. It is also the tallest minar in India standing tall at 73 metres. Humayun tomb too deserves a mention here. It is named after the Mughal emperor humayun. It is a garden tomb and is located in east of Delhi.

... the bazaars deserve a special mention. these bazaars sell every item a woman desires from local made perfumes(ittar), clothes, cosmetics and the list goes on. One such bazaar is Palika bazaar. Palika bazar is an underground market located at Connaught place. This place is active since 1970’s and main merchandise available here is electronic items and clothing. Since a lot of tourists visit this place the local merchants have started keeping stolen items, copy designer goods too which has earned it a notorious name. Sadar bazar is the biggest bazar in Delhi. Items like toys, stationary, imitational jewellery can be purchased at wholesale rates in this bazaar. Since the bazaar is huge it is divided into multiple sub bazaars and is kept closed on Sunday. The most attractive and popular place in Delhi is Chandni Chowk. It is every foodie’s paradise. Located in north Delhi it houses not only renowned restaurants but also has local eateries. This place is also popular for local Indian desserts. At evening times its difficult to drive through the roads.

Amusement parks, Cultural heritages, Vrindavan, Mathura, Bharatpur, Agra, Corbett National Park, etc are cities worth visiting near Delhi. When you visit these places you tend to have famous food delicacies, which in fact are extremely popular especially when you are in and around Delhi. Parathe Wali Gali is a place which cannot be missed for its most popular street food from all over India.
