Chevrolet is one of the most iconic car brands to ever grace the market.  Chevrolet has consistently made top quality, tough, and high-performance vehicles for over 100 years.  So it comes with no surprise when one of the world’s greatest superheroes needs a vehicle, he trusts no one besides Chevy to help in the fight against crime.
The most recent Batman film featured a new Batmobile, very different from the modified Impala featured in the Michael Keaton films.  Batman upgraded to a full-blown tank style vehicle.  Upgrading from a normal modified vehicle to military technology surely means he left his Chevrolet roots right?  Wrong.
The new Batmobile, known as the Tumbler, features a Chevrolet V8 Small Block engine.  Rather than use computer generated imagery, the filmmakers opted to completely build 4 different Tumbler vehicles to use in the films.  Even with massive 37 inch off-road tires in the rear and a total weight of about 2.5 tons, this monster of a vehicle reaches 60 mph in less than 5 seconds thanks to the 5.7 liter Chevy V8 churning out over 400 horsepower.
