The emission of greenhouse gases as a result of our energy consumption is the primary cause of global warming. Carbon dioxide and other gases have created a blanket around the Earth that prevents heat from escaping into the atmosphere.

Another nifty planet-saver is a standby saver, which works as a multi-socket, but the difference is that it detects when you switch off your TV with the remote control and cuts the power to all of the appliances. 3) Energy saving boilers

The amount of energy that old boilers use and lose can be pretty horrifying. Upgrading your boiler, a service which many energy suppliers provide at very reasonable prices, can cut your energy consumption drastically.
