Engagements are one of those events which are aimed to act as a stepping stone towards an eternity with one part, although, such accolades in this generation have been proven almost impossible. Still, having to announce to the people you know, especially those who are important to you, is a great deal.

In this regard, making them aware will take a lot of work. It will act like a mini wedding plan stage, minus the grand church and other preparations. For engagement invitations all you really need is a small venue where only a few of the closest family members from both sides are to gather. This is also a good time for both families to get acquainted with one another; a starting point for a lifetime of meetings.

So, who are going to be sent engagement invitations?

Well, there are some obvious choices such as the parents of the couple. These four people will be the ones who are going to be mostly involved in the lives of the male and female, especially once they tie the knot. They will look towards these individuals for guidance, and that is why it is best if they are well acquainted early ...

On the other hand, there is also the chance that these engagement parties are not the first time that these four individuals may have met. They could have met each other during gatherings where all of them are invited by the couple. In the off chance that both parties were not on common grounds during those moments, the engagement parties might be the best place to meet eye to eye and make-up. Of course, it is still best if they were to meet on good grounds early on seeing that they will play an important role in the married life of the couple.

Friends may also be sent engagement invitations; however, it may be advised that only the closest friends are to be attending. Again, this is more of a move to get your friends better acquainted with each other. This is a way to make a circle of friends and at least you know each other better or at least, this could be a starting point.

In addition, inviting the best friends over could be a good place to maybe let them to know each other, and there could be a chance that they next couple be within that group. It can sometimes be a farfetched plan, but the possibility is not totally zero, especially if most are single.
Of course, some extended family members are to be invited, especially those who played an important role in the lives of the couple’s separate lives. However, you might want to pick them out properly. Not everyone can be invited, save that for the actual wedding ceremony.

All throughout this planning and sending of engagement invitations, knowing who to invite is as important as where it is going to be held and when it is going happen. These are key considerations when choosing because you never know which among these could play an important role in making your lives as a married couple better.
