Saying thanks has always been the standard in showing gratitude towards people who have shown kindness towards a person. This has always been a norm – whenever someone shows kindness or presents you with gifts, the first phrase that should come out of one’s mouth is thank you. However, there are times when a person does not have the luxury of extending their thanks right then and there due to the amount of individuals that they may have over as guests. As a result, anyone would try to look for other means to say it.

Thank you cards can be considered as part of tradition because ever since childhood, most have been taught to write one as a show of gratitude towards those who has shown them, again, acts of kindness. Of course, for children, this was only during times when they receive gifts during birthday parties which they usually do not get enough time to say thank you. In this aspect, you need to take children into consideration. Children can easily get exhausted, and as a result, they lose interest very quickly as well.

For example, instead of a plain white paper or the usual thank you cards that adults use, it is better if you pick those with cartoon characters imprinted on them. Of course, you need to make sure that the cartoon characters are those which they usually like.

The answer is simple – you are changing it up every once in a while. As parents, you should be very keen in seeing that children easily loses their interest and by changing their environment every once in a while, you will be able to pique said interest once again.
