It is reported by London on 7th January that the market need of aluminum contracts in America has refreshed the new record to above the levels unseen for years as the European and Asian countries followed the rank, mainly because of the cutting-off of smelting output and financing transactions with excessive aluminum supply.
LME (also called London Metal Exchange) promote a further raise in aluminum contracts. Low interest rates keep attracting investors pouring their money into aluminum industry for transactions.
LME announces that it is high time people should have done some regulations of metal storage system by the end of last year for years of complaints by customers about too long queuing time of delivering the goods.
LME programs to shorten the queuing time to 50 days at most. Analysts and manufacturers held the view that this solution is expected to reduce aluminum contracts, particularly in the aluminum market of excessive supply.
Low price of aluminum and high energy prices in the western lead many aluminum manufacturers in United States to reduce capacity. As a result, the market is in urgent need of aluminum.
