While visiting India, one of the most striking things that you will notice is the beautiful and colorful clothes that people wear. They are so colorful that you become happy seeing all the bright and colorful clothes. The clothing worn by Indian women are envied world over due to its color, texture, fabric, and the stitch. The elaborate clothing of the women has not been like this, but it has evolved over the years as per the customs and traditions.

The clothing in India varies from region to region and it is based on the climate, people, and their customs and traditions. On festive occasions, the dresses become more elaborate and the designs done on them become very intricate. Certainly, when you walk by the streets, you will get to see more of western wear worn by the youngsters. But if you really have to see the traditional wear, then you can go to some festive occasions and weddings or visit some small cities or villages. There you will find all the latest designs like the Pakistani salwar kameez adorned by women beautifully on ...
... their bodies.

The two of the most common forms of ethnic wear worn by women are Sarees and Anarkali Suits. They complement any and every occasion. They bring out the beauty in the women in its truest form and also enhance their physical attributes elegantly. It certainly is an art to carry these elegant forms of dressing and if one does not have the poise to carry the dresses then it is a waste to wear them.

Saree is certainly the most popular form of dressing and it is simply an unstitched form of cloth that is tucked around the waist and draped around the shoulders. It takes some time to wear this clothing and there are different ways to drape it too. The way of draping is different in different states and it is worn as per the customs and traditions of the state. In some states women take the saree around their heads and cover it. It is done to show respect to the elders and some even go to the extent of covering their faces with the clothing.

In some weddings it is a custom to wear any of the two clothing as it shows the true beauty of the bride in its most classic form. You will get to see the garment worn in different colors, but the most commonly worn colors are red and pink. These colors really look so beautiful when worn that there are no words to describe it.
