Fathers' Day is a special time for families, even for those whose fathers are no longer around. There are many special ways you can celebrate Fathers' Day, whether it be visiting one in a nursing home, or at a graveyard or cemetery. Looking through photo albums or at old videos is a way to remember someone lost, or good times passed. And if you're lucky enough to have your dad still in your life, then Fathers' Day is the day to let them know you love them, and just what they mean to you.

Finding the perfect gift may take time, but it need not be expensive. Something personal is ideal; a small item that says 'I saw this and thought of you'. There are many online websites where you can find a unique gift. Men appreciate nice jewellery, and it's something they can carry with them all the time; a plain necklace or ring is personal will remind them of you.

Of course, if your dad is anything like mine then he'll love whatever you purchase. Socks, a bad-taste necktie or a hankie will be like he's just won the lottery. Simply sharing a cup of tea and sharing dad's unfunny joke ("Where's your bin?" "I've been here all the ...
