Popping Pimples
The pimple may be red, white, or it may be a cluster of blackheads. Of course you don't want to see a pimple on your face You want to remove the pimple. Don't pop it! It may be a large obvious form of acne, but there are safer ways of dealing with your acne. Didn't you know that popping pimples leads to acne?
Once a pimple is popped, there's the likelihood of having an acne scar appear on your face. While we're poking, probing, and popping pimples, we don't think of the consequences. Once a person has acne scarring, they'll notice holes, pockmarks, and dents in their skin. These are all caused by popping pimples and picking at your face.
What can you do differently to avoid acne scarring? Don't try to pop pimples. With a little care and some skin coddling, your pimples will go away eventually. If it's a large pimple, the toothpaste will dry the pimple out and make redness less visible.
If it's a very painful, swollen pimple, put an icepack on the spot. These two remedies will give your some relief ...
... and make the appearance of acne less visible. It will also keep you from dealing with acne scarring.
If you have a history of popping pimples, you may notice large indentations on your face. These are acne scars. Unless of course, you consult a dermatologist for a procedure to remove scars. In the meantime, you must look for other solutions to conceal acne scars.
What can be done to make acne scarring less visible? Concealers and makeup foundation can be applied directly to the face and smoothed out over acne scars. As you can see, the consequences of popping pimples are very real.
Once you have acne scarring, you'll go through life with it. Keep your face clean and exfoliate regularly to prevent pimples. Exfoliation also remove dirt, debris, and blackheads from your skin and acne scars.
There are different views of people about popping pimples. For sure, squeezing your pimples and popping them out is a kind of satisfaction since they are removed from your skin and you feel relieved.
The temptation of popping pimples is high and sometimes you're unable to resist it. But popping pimples has its side effects. Although the pimples have gone away, what usually remain is a small hole and blood might come out if it's too ripe.
When you remove the germ along with blood, this can cause infection on your skin and might degenerate if you don't get proper treatment. If you do get the necessary treatment, this can be healed with time and the hole will vanish.
If you didn't squeeze the pimples and let them cure by themselves after following the proper acne therapy, this can work as well.
So the debate to whether you need to pop and remove pimples is still well opened. But for me, I think that squeezing and popping out the pimples is not a shortcut to get rid of them. When you intentionally open them, you will irritate your skin and delay the healing much more because you would have already created a small hole in your skin.
The pimples will pop out by themselves with time if proper treatment is given or they might also disappear and fade away.
