Scuba diving, a thrilling and picturesque adventure sport has been calling adventurers and thrill seekers to Andaman for a long time. Andaman and Nicobar are scattered islands in the Bay of Bengal. Another fascinating site is on Allen Peaches near Port Blair. This site is located off Wandoor is a vast coral reef and rock site with a coral garden in the ocean. The oceanic blue highlights the beauty of corals and other marine life like fusilier, surgeonfish and snapper. If you are lucky enough, you may see an occasional moray eel, giant grouper, etc.

Enterprise Wreck is a pre-independence era wreck, and is known to be one of the best dive sites. Located at Chidiya Tapu, which is near port Blair, there is 50 meter long ship at the bottom of the ocean, where angel fishes, trevally and barracudas have gotten comfortable. This is a site as it includes views of marine life and the historic ship wreck as well.

Cinque Islands is one of the choicest dive locations in South Andaman. The pristine blue water here gives 30 meter deep visibility and allows tourists to see vibrantly coloured reef and marine life. Located just minutes away by car, this island in the Andaman Sea is an unconventional destination that is definitely worth your time.

The Havelock Island cluster is a popular adventure destination as there are several sports that can be enjoyed in this archipelago. Lighthouse is one exciting scuba diving site as there is an underwater slope that quickly slips from 1 meter deep to a 25 meter deep reef. This site has colourful corals and marine life like angelfish, banner fish and other interesting micro marine life as well. With destinations like Elephant Beach, The Wall, South Button, Nemo’s reef, Minerva Ledge, Jacob’s Table, Inket Wreck and Sebastian hill, Andaman has the largest collection of scuba diving sites in any holiday packages of South India.
