Agness Deyn, Her Meteoric Rise To Fame And New Status As The Face Of Uniqlo-00-1356
The 5 foot 8 inch tall model enjoyed making fashion statements as a teenager with her shaved head and self confessed eye for style. Deyn still stands out from the crowd, an important commodity in the fashion world, with her punk hair and madcap dress sense.
Born as Laura Hollins, she changed her name after speaking with a numerology expert and family friend about how to grab positive attention with name spellings, in order to further her budding modelling career. Deyn was born on February 16th 1983 and has three sisters but the famous fashionista is the only one who successfully broke the modelling scene. Her fashion sense is off the wall and her natural personality gives her an edge in the competitive modelling industry and Deyn can regularly be spotted enjoying the party lifestyle with an array of famous friends.
Deyn is well known in the UK and the US due to her unique fashion sense and wacky styles that are worthy of pop pal, Peaches Geldof, with brightly coloured knee high socks becoming her trademark. Deyn's fashion sense is unique to say the least and the party princess is known for mixing some curious outfits. The leggy model looks elegant in classic black dresses and sleek hair before appearing more eccentric with a ripped leather jacket and spiked heels with that just-got-out-of-bed hair, which luckily suits her perfectly. Her ability to wear an eclectic amalgamation of clothes makes her appealing to big fashion names all over the world and most recently she has worked for Japanese high street retailer, UNIQLO.

The most recent campaign for their sportswear collection is called ‘The Sport of Life' and proudly features Agnes and various male models donning the new outfits. The fashionable and affordable gear is destined to redefine sportswear to appeal to everyday fitness activities, like running for the bus and walking the dog in the park. Using Agnes as their female model will work wonders for their aim to release these outfits in a rainbow of colours, a look that she pulls off without fail.
