... car is able to offer.
All of the 2014 Hyundai Tucson trim packages are going to come with six-speed automatic transmissions. The five-speed manual, found on last year's model, is no longer available for purchase in the 2014. You can add all-wheel drive to any of the trims for an additional $1,500. The engine is also going to be improved, with a starting 2.0 liter four-cylinder direct injection engine. This is going to offer the vehicle 164 horsepower and 151lb-ft of torque. If you decide to go with the all-wheel drive feature, fuel economy is set at around 21 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway.
Should you want an upgraded engine in the 2014 Hyundai Tucson, there is an option for a 2.4-liter direct injection engine with 182 horsepower. The front-wheel drive version actually improves the fuel economy over the 2.0 liter model, as the highway fuel economy increases to 28 mpg. This means you receive more power while driving a more fuel efficient vehicle.
Some additional improvements are the selective damping suspension, which comes standard on all models. This is set to improve the ride and comfort, all while giving you improved body and wheel control. The headlights come with LED accents for improved visibility; with optional LED tail lamps should you want such a feature. You also have the ability to select 17 inch standard or 18 inch aluminum wheels.
The 2014 Hyundai Tucson comes in three different trims. The base model, or GLS, which has the starting sticker price of $22,305, has the 2.0-liter engine. The interior is cloth and it comes standard with AC, power windows, locks and mirrors, a remote keyless entry, and Bluetooth and satellite radio. The next upgrade trim is the SE, with a sticker price of $24,355. This vehicle includes the same features as the GLS, on top of a 2.4-liter engine, roof rails, fog lights; power operated driver's seat with lumbar support, heated front seats and a 4.3 inch color screen display with a backup camera. The final trim option is the Limited, with a starting price of $27,055.
This comes with all of the SE options, 18-inch wheels, chrome tint, a pushbutton start, leather-trimmed seats and steering wheel, dual climate control for more comfort in each seating section. Additional features include the Technology package and sunroof for $2650. This package also comes with a seven-inch navigation screen, a 360 watt audio system, LED taillights and a 90 day subscription to XM NavTraffic. All of this is designed to give you the very best driving experience possible, without costing too much.
