Definition of Bribery:

Bribery means accepting or offerings anything of value in the circumstances where the person who has accepted the bribe is expected to execute or carry out a service that goes beyond the normal job profile of that person.

The best and the classic example of bribery is money. There are other forms as well which fall in the category of bribes take for example of real estate, any expensive objects or it may be a promise to perform a specific service in the near future. Thus in order to constitute a bribe anything of the value is offered and is also accepted by the other with an understanding that the person who is accepting the bribe is going to do some favor to the person in return. This is something which set apart bribe from gift. In gift anything is offered with a genuine will.

Today bribery is at its high and people don't work of bribe is not offered. Bribery also spoils one reputation whether it is the person who offered or the person who accepted.
