Of course, there are plenty of woodwork tools you can find in the market, but, being a newbie woodworker, you don’t have to spend such amount of money for power tools like belt sanders, table saws and electric wood planer. To start with, you will just require a basic set of woodwork tools. There is no doubt that you will have to use all the expensive tools in the future, but you have to first improve your skills using the basic tools.

Therefore, it is important that you keep a couple of saws in your toolbox with you to smoother your woodworking projects. For beginners it is better to use hand saws rather than power saws, as this will allow you to improve your skills.

• Screw Drivers – During the woodworking projects, many times you will require the use of screws instead of conventional nails whenever you’re about to join two different pieces of wood. At that time, you will require screws of different types and sizes. So, always keep different screws within your toolbox.

• Drills – Apart from cutting woods, you may also require drilling a couple of holes in wood, and this is where a hand drill comes into the picture. Of course, there are plenty of manual drills available in the market, but you may have to spend some money to use the power drills as they are quite easy to use. And since you will only be working with wood, a low wattage power drill will suffice.
