Just Who Is This Guy Anyways

When I go to Google and do a search for his name not enclosing it in quotes I get over 800k matches. With the quotes I still get over 70k. Yahoo returns over 9 million without quotes. In Google my name returns around 10,000 without quotes and a little more than half using quotes. I've only seen stuff from this guy for a little over a year now but yet I have written and published articles now for over 4 years. Who is this guy Derek Rogers?

I use Article Post Robot to submit the articles I write to over 200 of the most popular Article Directories and mailing lists. I've been using Article Post Robot now for almost 3 years and before that I used Article Submitter Desktop software to submit all the articles that I write but this is more of a manual process and these days I don't seem to have the time to dedicate to this.

Because of submitting a lot of my articles to Yahoo and Google writers groups I have to also receive the articles from other authors. I set up a rule in my Outlook Express to put all of the articles I receive in a folder titled articles. Every day I check in this folder I see buku article's from Derek ...
... Rogers. Where does he get all of this material to write articles on so many different topics?

Finally the other day I decided to take the time and read through some of the articles. He's not writing all these himself, he is submitting them for other authors. Does he own some type of article submission service where authors pay him to do the submitting? Usually when you author an article and then submit it to one of the groups on Yahoo or Google the from line is the author who submitted the article. Not so with Derek, He takes the articles title and then follows the title with the author's name. This is all contained in the line that is supposed to be just the title.

I thought Derek Rogers was writing all these articles himself or paying a ghostwriting service to write articles for him. On the Article Directories main page where they list all of their authors I see Dereks name so he is not just submitting them to groups on Yahoo and Google. Is he also submitting articles from other authors to the Article Directories?

He has two sites using his name, one is derekrogers and the other is Derek-rogers and both of them are dot com's. These are both blogs but I visited them and on each of them there was only a few postings and some very basic information about himself. They just said that he was a blogger, an internet marketer and that he was married. No address or any phone numbers. He did not even have a picture of himself on any of the sites but yet in Google it showed links to pages on Facebook, MySpage and several other social network sites but each time I clicked on one I could not be sure that it was the Derek Rogers that is the author that created these profiles.

How is he getting all the matches in the results on all of the search engines? Is he manually doing this all himself or is he paying a submission service to do this for him? In all the things I saw about him I saw nothing about anything he might be selling. If he is an internet marketer than their would be a lot of mini sites out there that were owned by him. Nada, zip, and zilch. I could find nothing. One Derek Rogers is a producer of short films, Another one is some sort of sports authority. The other results were from reunions, and events that people with the name Derek Rogers visited.
