London Digital Web Agency Cyber-duck Takes Home Horizon Interactive Award 2009

For the second time Cyber-Duck has been presented with a prestigious international Bronze Horizon Interactive Award.

CyberDuck was awarded the accolade in the Company Identity and Self-promotion category after judges saw the new flash-driven Cyber-Duck website.

The 8th annual awards, held in the US, aims to recognise excellence in media production. Horizon honours the most talented developers of interactive media. The competition provides a level playing field to all participants regardless of company size.

Cyber-Duck was chosen to receive the prestigious prize after judges were won over by the website's user-orientated design, quirky and vibrant Flash animations and clear, concise copywriting.

The 2009 competition received over 2000 entries from 32 countries around the world including Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Columbia, Croatia, Germany, Egypt, Spain, France, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Syria, Thailand, Turkey, Taiwan and nearly all 50 of the United ...
... States.

An international panel of judges, consisting of top industry professionals with diverse backgrounds and experience, evaluated each of the categories ranging from online advertising to self-promotion to online movie sites to video games.

Our international panel of judges and one-of-a-kind end-user panel looks for the best blend of artistry and functionality.

The standard set by entrants this year was of a particularly high level, with the top award of Best In Show going to Eagle Eye: Free Fall, a US-produced internet-based mini movie that actually interacts with the viewer, blurring the confines of the digital world and reality.
