In the next two years the universities of SAARC countries are planning to share a common syllabus for five different curriculums. The shared courses like corporate governance, digital governance, regional economic planning, sustainable development and heritage and culture will be implemented in the Master's level if it is agreed upon by member countries. This initiative will get its final shape in Sri Lanka in 2015 in the vice chancellors conference of SAARC universities. Innovative Financial Advisors Pvt. The educationists in the two day conference in Udaipur agreed to join hands on the theme of First cooperate, then collaborate with Udaipur being the headquarters of the common curriculum agenda. Academicians and experts have expressed their views in the brain storming sessions of the conference in terms of higher education in developing nations. Besides the conventional syllabi the members urged upon the need to bring in courses like resource management and sustainable development that would motivate the youth towards these issues. Every country has their specific need, that's why courses that had maximum consensus among the members were chalked out. According to Innovative Financial Advisors Pvt. The idea of an online forum for exchange of thoughts to bridge communication gap among the universities was also suggested in the conference. Vice chancellors will also visit various universities to analyze the management and working of institutions at various levels.
