This article will mainly discuss about condos at the beach. It will provide its readers with all the necessary information related to condos, its difference from a normal apartment, its benefits, etc.
What are condos?
A condominium or a condo at the beach in short, is a type of housing tenure as well as other real property in which a specific part of a portion of real estate (which is normally of an apartment) is owned by an individual. However, the use of as well as the access to all common facilities in the area such as heating system, hallways, exterior areas as well as elevators are executed under the legal rights which are associated with the individual ownership as well as controlled by that association of all owners who jointly represent the ownership of the entire piece. Colloquially, the word condo is at times used in order to refer to the unit, in place of using the word "apartment". A condo can also be simply defined as "apartment" which its residents own as opposed to the rents.

• Each and every housing structure consists of some common structures like the Recreational parks, ...
... parking lots, walking areas, gyms etc. The owners of the condos at the beach will share their ownership of these common areas with all the other owners. In every condo area, these "common areas" of the property (such as the recreation areas, open spaces, tennis courts, etc.) have to be maintained as well as managed in order to benefit the unit owners.

• Condos at the beach normally turn out to be very cheap. In general, a square footage will usually cost much less in this condominium setting than it will cost in a single family house or a townhouse, which is mainly because of the cost of the land surrounding it. In a condominium, the owner will not get the entire ownership of the land and hence, in this same space, a large number of condos may be built which makes them a lot cheaper.

• In such a condo, its owner does not own the entire land and also, in that similar space, a few more number of condos may be built, which makes them much reasonable. While the whole exterior of a townhouse or a condo maybe maintained by the Home Owners Association (HOA), it is totally up to the condo’s owner to maintain its interiors. However, at times it can also depend upon the agreement of the entire homeowners' association.

The cons of living in condos
Owning condos at the beach may sound fun, but it is very different from a single-family home but it comes with some problems. Before buying a condo at the beach, one must ensure that this lifestyle is suitable for him.

A huge drawback to owning a condo at the beach is its association fees that are usually collected outside the monthly mortgage payment, which is normally used in maintenance as well as facilities. The fees maybe very expensive and can increase if extra money is required for maintenance is needed.
