The Woo Group Appoints Owen Turner As Head Of Equity Index Research For North America

The Woo Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Owen Turner as an executive director and Head of Equity Index Research as The Woo Group continues to enhance its equity offering in the United States. Mr Turner's appointment will be effective on Monday, September 16th and he will be based at The Woo Group's headquarters in Hong Kong, where he will oversee Lead US Equity Analyst Mr Alex Davidson and his team.

“The Woo Group continues to enhance its position and gain market share in the American capital markets. We are building on these advancements by expanding our product offerings and hiring high quality talent,” said Dr Lian Cheung, Head of Investment Analysis.

Mr Turner will lead a team of experienced analysts, which will primarily be responsible for research sector indices, exchange traded funds, and CBOE volatility index related products. This will complement The Woo Group's already deep and wide range of research.

... JP Morgan as an exchange traded fund analyst. He obtained his undergraduate degree from The University of Pennsylvania in economics, after he continued to Cornell University to receive his masters of business.
