The first episode normally begins with the introduction of the family. A family that consists of more than 20 people, some or the other way related to each other. There is no essence of reality in any of the frames that you see. More over the sets, the makeup and their lifestyles are also never in sync. Spare us the drama as your 1000 episodes seem to be the repeat telecast of all the scripts put together by various channels. In this high end spectacle of reality shows and daily soaps, one might lose the real motive behind living a happy life.

Ages ago, there was a time when families were heard laughing together post 8 pm, when their television sets were on. And now there is nothing but melodrama.

Television channels need to go back in time to produce some good comedy series or shows which can change this world of high voltage drama and set a lighter mood. Channels need to bring back the magic they once telecasted with comedy Hindi dramas like Yeh Jo Zindagi Hai, Nukkad, Office-Office, TuTu Main Main, Hum Paanch, Padosan, Zamban Sambhalke and Dekh Bhai Dekh.

... on television with new star cast, it never really kick started well. That's because viewers were just not ready to accept the new star cast. Such is the power of bonding with shows. The rule is to be original and humorous and not bring back/remake the ever green comedy serials. Similar attempts are been put up by channels like SAB TV, Colors and SONY. SAB TV has produced Tarak Mehta Ka Ollatah Chashma which has not only completed over 800 episodes but has also given daily soaps a run for their money.

With little efforts being put forth by these channels to provide good content for us, it is time we changed our mind set, replaced drama from our lives and added some magic of laughter in it.
