FORGET the Manolos and pack away the fancy Jimmy Choos - Dublin has been gripped by Ugg fever.
The sheepskin boots worn by Kate Moss, Madonna and Sarah Jessica Parker are the ultimate must-have for followers of fashion.
But if you want to buy a pair you have to put your name on a SEVEN MONTH waiting list.
Just one pair of size eight ugg boots, which retail at EUR260 a pair, are left in the capital after a buying frenzy over the past two months.
Now trend setters are hoping to get their hands on the next batch coming in from Australia in September.
In the UK the unflattering fluffyugg boots with round toes will not be back on the shelves until May after flying out of the shops at record speed.
In the US 20,000 pairs of new baby blue and pink uggs have been ordered before they have even been seen.
Audrey Murray manager of Buffalo Uggs in Dublin said 200 pairs ordered for the New Year lasted a week.
She added: ...
... "They are just phenomenally popular. They are not the most attractive looking things but they are the most comfortable shoes you could ever put on your feet.
"We have ordered a load of them in for September and we already have a big waiting list.
"I own a pair myself and they are just so comfortable. They are made from sheepskin so you are not supposed to wear any socks with them."
Buffalo charge EUR260 for the tall ones and EUR245 for the short Uggs
