Shame shame! That is what I thought when I heard what Nelson Mandela said about the USA and President Bush.
Shame shame! That is what I thought of when I read and heard what Nelson Mandela of SA. said about a week ago. Nelson Mandela, a man who is looked up to by many, called President Bush arrogant and shortsighted in an address to the International Women's Forum in Johannesburg. On Thursday, January 30 the former South African President also implied that President Bush was racist for ignoring the United Nations as the United States prepares for a possible military strike against Iraq. Former South African President Nelson Mandela also said President Bush and Tony Blair are undermining the United Nations by their position on Iraq. "They do not care. Is it because the Secretary General of the United Nations is now a black man?" And Mandela said, "If there is a country that has committed unspeakable atrocities in the world, it is the United States of America."
