This basic GSM phone sports a unique clean, rounded clamshell design with an internal antenna and vertical outer display. Key features include basic Bluetooth, a VGA camera, and speakerphone. T Mobile has announced it is carrying the T Mobile Samsung T329 phone also known as the Stripe for its two tone color scheme and its long, white on black external display. It a tri band GSM model, and generally aimed at a low cost demographic there is no broadband or web browsing on the phone, and the internal display runs at 128x160 in 65,000 colors.

The vertical external screen is a nice change from the standard square display. It shows the time, battery life, signal strength, and caller ID. You can change the contrast but not the font size or the backlight time. Also, the monochrome resolution means it doesn't support photo caller ID, and it won't work as a viewfinder for self portraits.
