Soon after this Bachelor degree module was commenced, since then, the learning centre has been enjoying close collaboration with universities from Australia and the United Kingdom in preparing leading professionals of the future.

Later in March 2007, MDIS School of tourism and hospitality was finally launched and this program was attended by a lot of travel and tourism industry associates. It is known that the introduction of this school of hospitality was an appropriate move by MDIS. It came in just in time to help resolve the many need for qualified and experienced employees in the travel, tourism and hospitality firms. Undergraduates were provided in both classroom setting as well as hands on practical experiences. This was because these hospitality management pupils not only have to go through the academic section of the activities in class, they are also required to do a four to six months work attachments at leading hotels, resorts, attractions as part of the study. Through these internship trainings, pupils would be better prepared for any hotel management or tourism management related scenarios.

This quick increase in learners crowd has also brought about more advancements for the learning centre. Through this, MDIS plunged more than a quarter- million dollars on a practice venue to prepare students with the advanced knowledge and knowledge to work in the various tourism and hospitality companies.
