Monitoring Google Could Mean More Sales For Your Site!
Sounds a little difficult I know. I mean Google has zillions upon zillions of websites, people, keywords, ranks, pages, etc. You probably could never even count the amount of pages Google has because of the keywords alone. Look up something like Google ON Google and you will find 2,670,000,000. TWO Billion results! Wow. But it becomes a little easier to monitor Google and the other engines if you start to narrow it down. Say your website is a click bank product. Let's choose something like Dog Training. Now you think that you have THE best keywords as you possibly could. You worked on your SEO and your SERPs but you still cannot for the life of you, get on the first page of Google.
What is the problem! You tried everything. You did a zillion backlinks. You made sure they were all followable. You did your SEO with a professional website. You have keywords and tags on your site. And yet, for some reason (which is making you crazy), there are hundreds of sites STILL in front of you on the engines. What could be the problem? Well one thing you might want to consider is looking at your keywords and the keywords of your competitors. ...
... Sometimes Google "eats up" certain keywords and while leaving other keywords behind. One thing I would suggest? Look at your competitors. What keywords are they using? This little step can go a long way.
Monitoring Google can become quite stressful though and it could take up a lot of your time. So one thing you could try doing is finding a website online that is involved with SEO. One website I found online recently has an actual web application you can utilize in order to find out what keywords your competitors are using. This is great for you because now you can switch up your keywords. Instead of using your usual Dog Training, you might see that if you used a more specific keyword like Training A Bichon Frise - you would get better results. The results that your competitors are getting. Hey, they are on the first page of Google and you my friend - you are on page 79!
So what are you going to do? Are you going to keep doing the same thing you have been doing for months? Only to move one or two pages? Or are you going to try something else that you have never tried before and quite possibly move up to page one with the rest of your competition? I would hope you would choose the new-found way rather than the same old same old. Aren't you willing to try new things if it means moving up in the SERPs? Well you should be. Everyone needs help with Search Engine Analytics. Not just the newbies. But the seasoned masters as well!
