As you know, in order to get good saw blade grinding result, it is important to follow some strict grinding working procedures, here are the working procedures for you step by step to learn related tips.
Firstly, please clearly know that not all the saw blades are suitable to be grinded and then used again for cutting, sometimes, saw blades are damaged seriously and it is at the end of their working life. Under such circumstance, please save your time and energy because it is useless to grind such saw blades.
Secondly, before grinding, all the circular saw blades should be cleaned completely, at the same, if there are rust marks on the surface, they should be removed before grinding. Sometimes, in order to get good cleaning result, saw blades should be put in the 50 degree centigrade warm water for soaking about 30 minutes.
Thirdly, all the saw teeth angles on saw blade including front rake angle, relief angle and side angle should be checked by the dial indicator, meanwhile, it is important to check whether there are some angles lacked or cracked. In order to get clear result on the saw blade angles abrasion ...
... condition, you have to place saw blade on projector for image magnified for about 50 times to 100 times. If the angles abrasion condition is slight, it is important to improve the grinding amount so as to reduce the cost of production.
Fourthly, sometimes if the alloy saw teeth should be changed, it is better to use full automatic brazing machine to finish the saw teeth change work.
Fifth, in this step, you have to finish the saw blade tensile stress calibration work, which is the most important working procedure among the whole saw blade grinding work, and as usual, it should be finished by veteran technician. During the high speed rotating of saw blade cutting process, there is a certain amount of external force and as a result, the saw blade’s tensile stress would be changed, so that you would find some problems such as large saw kert or coarse cutting surface. Generally speaking, such working procedure should be done at least two times in order to ensure final grinding result.
Finally, after finishing such step, you have to use dial indicator to check all the saw teeth angles again, whether it is recovered to original condition. If yes, the whole grinding task would be finished, on the contrary, if it is not, repeat the working procedure again.
