Learn what the different parts of a food label are referring to. A food that is fat-free is not necessarily healthy or good for you. Manufacturers often load up on sugar to compensate for the reduced fat content. If you get in the habit of reading food labels, you will ensure that the food you are eating is in fact healthy.
