Their show ‘A Gift from Hamlet' was closed down by censors. The troupe and the couple face a difficult time. The turning point of the story is when a young handsome bomber pilot ‘Stanislaw Sobinsky' returns to Poland from England. He asked the couple to help him in catching a spy. The couple lands into more trouble. To see what happens next, you should go and see the play. Though the play deals with the serious subject of World War but it has been written and enacted in a funny manner. The fling between Maria and the young pilot further spice up the play.
