In a comparative essay you have to make a comparison between two separate objects, events or ideas. For example, the topic for the essay may be something like, "Make a comparison between object A and object B."

Knowing how to write a comparative essay can help you gain abundant knowledge while researching the two objects you have been asked to compare and write.
