There are several reasons as to why more and more companies are venturing into the production of dimmable LED candelabra bulbs. This is against a background where, in earlier days, the dimmable bulbs were viewed as ‘premium products,’ made by only a few companies (with most of the remaining companies making the LED bulbs that are non-dimmable). But as more and more people in the industry become enlightened about the ease with which these bulbs can be made, we are seeing more and more companies venturing into their manufacture.

The third reason as to why more and more companies are venturing into the production of dimmable LED candelabra bulbs has to do with the fact that they (the manufacturers) stand to make better profits by doing so. Thanks to the fact that the users view the dimmable LED-based candelabra bulbs as being more sophisticated, they tend to show willingness to pay substantially more for them. Yet, on the manufacturing side, only a few minor design tweaks are necessary to convert ordinary non-dimmable LED bulbs into dimmable ones. Against that background, the manufacturing of dimmable LED candelabra bulbs becomes a potentially lucrative venture -- hence the reason as to why more and more companies are attracted to it.
