If you want to make a book you need to think about how to write. You must have written something worth publishing for you to think about making a book. Do you want to make a hard copy. What kind of book do you want to write.
When I wrote my book, I was looking for a publisher to publish my book. I sent out to some publishers and got replies that made me put the book away and conclude that I had no business writing. You would think that I had learned my lesson and I would look for a decent paying job and move on. Well I just kept writing and around my house are materials that I have written.
Okay I have written my idea for a book around a topic that interests me. I have typed it up on word. I have used a spell checker to correct my spellings. I have got my English speaking friends to help make sense of my sentences. I have counted the words and I am ready to publish again.
What happens next is quite strange; my friends tell me that the material is not worth of print. They come down on me like a ton of bricks. Well then I began the process of making a cover for my book. When you think in terms of skills set, ...
... you will find some person willing to do a cover for your book for a set price. Why do I have to waste my time dreaming up a cover, when I can pay someone five dollars to do it for me.
At this point, I have book content and a cover for it and next, I need someone to make it look like a book. Some people think I am computer literate because I can use the computer to type up notes, but the truth is there are so many things I cannot do and I am not interested in doing. The blessing is that someone can do it for me.
The best bit about making a book nowadays is that it is a lot easier to make a hard book for you as well as an eBook. You can have your book in both worlds. Wait for this... writers and readers, a man has written a one page book and gone through publishing. What a waste of time you would say. Well he is so confident about his work and super excited about it. HE must be to have gone through with the process of having it published.
Online platforms like Kindle for example have made life easy for the writer. One man's food they say is another man's poison and well there you have it: the ardent critic is inspired to write a critique about people who should not call themselves writers. He is inspired to write because he is convinced that some people should not call themselves writers and he writes an amazing article.
Venting is a form of writing. What is it that annoys you. Would you believe some things that happen in the society that we live in. You would think that we are so advanced and we treat ever one fairly. Keeping a diary is also a form of writing and the amazing auto biography that people write attests to the fact that anyone can write and make a book out of the seemingly mundane things of life. Many would disagree but who cares.
