7 Places In Kuala Lumpur Where You Will Have A Great Time With Your Kid
People going on foreign trips with their kids often wonder about the places over there, which would excite and appeal to the little ones. If it is Kuala Lumpur you are heading to with your son/daughter, you don’t have to worry much on this issue though – since there are plenty of fun activities that you can plan in KL with your kid. Make sure that you take your child to the following seven locations in the city:
i. The Genting Highlands Park – Your child will definitely love this beautifully decorated amusement park, with around 40 exciting rides. Ask whether car rental services are provided by the officials at the budget hotel in Kuala Lumpur where you would be staying – so that you can reach the park without any hassles whatsoever. If your kid is fonder of water rides, the famous Sunway Lagoon Park should be your destination.
ii. The Aquaria in KL – Located within the KLCC complex itself, this is one of the most enthralling places in Asia – for getting an ‘up, close and personal’ feel of the aquatic life. Both you and your child would love the sights of large fishes and other water mammals at the ...
... Aquaria, with the sharks probably causing the maximum excitement among onlookers. If you have chosen to reside at a hotel near KLCC, traveling to Aquaria would hardly take a few minutes.
iii. The Petronas Towers – Look for a hotel near the Twin Towers in Malaysia, so that you can take your little darling to an exciting trip to the grand Petronas Towers. It is one of the tallest pieces of construction in the world, and offers quite stunning views of the entire city. Make sure that you check out the sky bridge section of the Towers. Finding the way from your hotel in KL to the Petronas Towers is easy too.
iv. The Kampang Kuantan – Amaze your kid with vibrant sights of fireflies, at the Kampang Kuantan. For experiencing the true beauties of the place, arrange for a nighttime boat trip across the quaint river over here. The flickering lights of fireflies, the rustle of the waters, and the sheer serenity of the surroundings would surely capture the imagination of your beloved child.
v. The KLCC Park – If you thought that natural parks were only about daytime fun and frolic, the charms of the KLCC Park would surprise you. As evening descends, the lights on the Petronas Towers (which is in the vicinity of this park) are switched on, lending the park a bright, almost ethereal glow. There are several lovely trails, fountains and pools over here as well. If your hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is centrally located, you’ll have no trouble in reaching this beautiful destination for kids.
vi. The Petrosains Discovery Center – A trip to a museum need not bore kids, as the Petrosains Discovery Center successfully proves. You will have to take a bus or car to the Suria Mall, on the top floor of which this Discovery Center has been built. The grand dinosaur displays will leave you and your child in complete awe, and the little one can also participate in several interactive sessions – to enhance his/her knowledge pool. Well over 150 items are exhibited at this place in all. A fun place to spend a day with your kid – that’s what the Discovery Center is!
vii. The Air Force Museum – Bring the excitements of flying in aircrafts and helicopters to your child, by going on a day trip to this place. You can ask at the reception of the hotel in KL, Malaysia where you are staying, about the ideal way to travel to the Royal Malaysian Aircraft museum. Sample fighter missiles and jet plane models are showcased at this museum too.
For an enjoyable shopping-cum-picnic binge with your kid, a trip to the Berjaya Times Square would be in order. There are several hotels in Kuala Lumpur near the Batu Caves and the Lake Gardens too – each of which have considerable attractions for kids and elders alike. Spend the upcoming holidays at Kuala Lumpur with your kid – and help your little one have the time of his/her life!
