Times are quite hard at the moment but not so long ago property was the big buzz word and everyone was clamoring to get involved in some way. Not everybody wanted to actually be a landlord or manage a portfolio, some of them wanted to find other ways to make a quick buck out of the property market.

As a result the market was flooded with all sorts of products claiming to be specially designed to make a landlord's life easier.

The truth is that a lot of these products were designed by computer technicians hired by web entrepreneurs that would not have had a clue what the average landlord actually needed in property management software.

Technically they may have been good and they probably looked fabulous but they will not be a lot of use in helping you manage your property portfolio because the people designing them have never had to do the job themselves.

To make sure you are getting a piece of software that is actually going to help make your life easier you need to make sure it has been designed by a practicing landlord with experience of the game himself.

My landlord software was born out ...
... of a need to make my life as a landlord and portfolio manager easier. My years of experience in the industry guided me in what to include in the software. It was the stuff that I know I would find most useful.

It can be difficult sorting the wheat from the chaff in what has become a very crowded market but there are a few things you can do to safe guard yourself against buying an expensive dud.

Check out the track record of the landlord software, how long has it been around? What are its sales like? The longer it has survived the surer you can be that it is getting things correct. The same goes for sales, sales show popularity and though not all popular things are the best in this case it must be doing a pretty good job of meeting landlord's needs if a lot of them are buying it.

Also, look into what the property management software comes with in terms of customer support. We all have issues and problems sometimes and when it a happens to you you don't want to find out that the company has the attitude of assuming it is your problem now the sale has been made. I stand by the support service my company offers one hundred percent. I am always being complimented on it and I thoroughly believe that it is one of the reasons so many landlords prefer our property management software above all others.

Lastly, check out who approves the property software. I am proud that our software is recognized by RLA (the Residential Landlords Association. The fact that it is the only landlord software that is tells me that we have achieved my goal of producing something that really helps landlords out and caters for all their property portfolio needs.

Property Portfolio Software prides itself on providing easy to use property management software and landlord software solutions that are designed by landlords. Our property software solutions will save you time, money and effort in managing all aspects of your property business.
