The work of a movie script writer generally goes unnoticed when the movie is created; it's the actors or the crew members that are applauded for their outstanding work. All this and much more falls within the job description of a screenplay writer. In the face of such adversities, a movie script writer is forced to work much harder to keep afloat. If we closely examine the responsibilities of a movie script writer, we may be surprised to note the pivotal role this person plays in making of a movie. A writer for movies may work as an employee in a studio, a director, or a freelancer. Either way, the job is tough, and requires working under duress and the industry standards. It is one thing for the script to look good on paper; it is quite another for it to be producible.
