You just have to keep your eyes open and look for them. Find out what types of problems those in your industry, or field, or having for which they want to find a solution. Search for, and identify, any new product or service that is lacking in your field. Naturally, every idea you come up with may not work out, but keep track of any you have nonetheless. This will train your mind to spot many potential opportunities, and some will turn out to be profitable.
