The truth is that few people read on a regular basis these days. However, the age when people used to read for pleasure all the time is really not that far behind us. Yes, there was an age where people used to spend their time reading. Of course, there was no television or computer or the internet in those days and people relied on the good old books to entertain them. This was the time when reading was important. However, today this is not so. Few people read and even they mostly read the newspapers. Very few people read for pleasure. However, if you really want to make it a habit of reading more, then there are some really good things you can do. Here are some tips:

• Keep a time separate for when you will read. No matter what kind of hectic schedule you have, having a time set separate from it just for reading is a really great idea. This way, you will have a specific time drawn out where you can read. This can be done even if you are the busiest executive in the world or a new mom!

• Have a nice place where you will read. It can be something as elaborate as a library in your home, or it can be something ...
... as simple as a nice comfortable rocking chair. Having a space set for reading will help you look forward to it if you are scared of spending time with trilogy series books.

• Find books that you enjoy. If you have been fond of trilogy series books as a child, there is no reason why you will not love them as an adult. Find the best trilogy series books there are for adults and have fun reading them. Having a nice ritual for reading your best trilogy series books is also a great idea. Have something you like, like a cup of coffee or cocoa and spend time with it reading.

• It is so easy to start reading when you get into a habit of doing so. Though creating a habit may take some time and effort on your part, the great thing is when you start enjoying the process, it will not be taxing at all.

With time and a little bit of effort, you will soon start reading books by the dozen!
