Employing a family attorney in your midst is one of the most prepared and conscious decisions you can make. Any family that has a family attorney has a greater advantage over those who do not, especially in the legal front. However, a family attorney is still an attorney. And most of them are scums who only care about money. Now, that is a problem. So, what are the indications that you have to ditch your current attorney? There are wuite a number of course. But I made the pleasure of listing a few to get you started.

When you can’t afford to have one anymore

Yes, you might have enjoyed your family’s very own lawyer before—and for many years now. However, things have turned for the worst, and your family is currently suffering from financial crisis. As much as you want to hold on to an attorney, there is that unfortunate fact that their hours of service have to get paid. You do not have any other choice but to let go—at least until you are still stabilizing your financial status.

When you realize your family attorney is tricking you

You should not be surprised with this one. A lot of attorneys ...
... are tricksters, and you can never be always sure with them. If ever you have ended up with one of those tricksters, cut your losses and throw the scumbag away. Of course, you cannot detect that kind of deceit the first time. Attorneys are very clever and can hide any foul odor they want to hide from you. However, you must remember that you have to be smart with dealing with these things too. You have to be extra observant and cynical. Watch your family attorney with the eyes of a hawk.

When the one you are currently having is a jerk
Yes, your current attorney is probably one of the best family attorneys on your area. He or she may have even represented some of the best families in your state. However, if he or she turns out to be a total douchebag, then I suggest you might want to rethink your decision. Let say that he or she is indeed one of the best. However, he or she treats you and your family very poorly—like you owe him or her for representing your family. The worst part is when he or she acts like he or she owns your family just because you depend on him or her. By all means, ditch that jerk. There are hundreds of family attorneys in the state. You will eventually find one that best fits your family.

When you have found a better attorney for your family

Let us say that your current family attorney is one heck of a lame law practitioner. Is it not just right to venture out again in search of a better legal representation for your family? Yes, it might take time. But a new search is better than sticking with a no-good attorney who will most probably bring your family more bad than good.
