A Teacher-Friendly Master's

NSU's online Master's in Teaching is designed to help practicing teachers balance work, family and a master's education.

Entirely online to fit your schedule - no face-to-face meetings required
No exams - assignments are application-oriented and focused on your classroom
Five starts each year - January, March, May, August and October - with time off during the year (different depending on the term you start) to enjoy vacations and personal time.


The degree program is designed to help candidates become proficient in program competencies that are based upon national and professional standards for practicing teachers. Teaching With Technology Emphasis: Learn how technology can be integrated into your classroom and how the Internet can support teaching and learning. You'll also learn how special education can benefit from high-tech teaching methods. Many schools have chairpersons who head up technology departments and offer enrichment programs.

Online Educational Technology degree candidates acquire the knowledge, skills and dispositions to support student learning through the use of technology and to provide professional development and technical assistance to teachers and other school personnel.
